Message from Sparky.............
The sacrifices made by our Vietnam Veterans compares to no other. The war protesters, draft dodgers, hippies, flower children along with the ignorance of many others contributed to our Vietnam Veterans being kept from having a proper & deserved welcome home. Only those who fought for our freedom can explain how it felt to be spit at and called baby killer upon returning to a world they no longer knew. It is also so hard to explain or understand why our fellow Americans would do so. |
| eMarinePX.com was developed out of respect, love and commitment to honor our Vietnam Veterans. Through the years I've lived with seeing the wounds and deep scars these tragic events had on our guys. Instead of a ticker tape parade expressing support, Vietnam Veterans were met with bottles and rocks, thrown in hatred for doing the job our government sent them out to do. These were people our Vietnam Veterans did not know, but fought for their right to be free.

After 30 years of sharing my life with a Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran, we are still driving on. I didn't ask my Vietnam Veteran to write a bio for eMarinePX as I knew it would be hard for him to do. So please allow me to express my gratitude, love and respect to our guys and gals who answered their orders, ducked and dodged and gave up on the thought of ever seeing the world again, and for those who paid the ultimate sacrifice that didn't. To all our Veterans, the sacrifices you made, so that we could enjoy freedom and live our lives in the land of the free and without question, home of the brave...forever you are my heroes. Welcome Home!
